The guidance I provide reflects my deep belief in the power of perseverance and personal responsibility. I only work with those who are ready to commit fully to the process. Transplant success isn’t just about the procedure itself—it’s about the long-term journey to health.
This is a partnership. Those who are willing to stay the course will find the support and resources they need. Commitment is not just a requirement—it’s the foundation for achieving and maintaining a second chance at life.
About 45 years ago I began assisting patients who were in need of Transplant Coordinator. At the time I was, and still am, a Nutritionist. I began working with Eye Banks, assisting in transplants expanded into transplants of Kidneys, Hearts, Lungs, Livers, Pancreas, and Bone Marrow. I found Kidney Transplants the most common and noticed many people did not have donors, were not aware of going to other countries for transplants and were not able to coordinate the process.
Through my International Nutritional work I had contacts with foreign countries and began Coordinating Transplants with Airlines, Hospitals, Administrators, Doctors, and Transplant Organizations. What began with Kidney Transplants escalated into assistance with all Transplant Coordinator. The costs were high and prevented most patients from obtaining the Transplants they required. There were many younger and older people in need of Transplants with most patients falling between the middle years of life.
As a Nutritionist I found a relationship between food, exercise, and mental attitude a determining factor in health and longevity. I found it important, and stressed the importance of changing lifestyle and attitude in the recovery and longevity process.
The costs for my assistance are not static and vary with each Transplant. Assisting a child who has Cancer is different than working with someone who requires a Kidney Transplant. It is always about commitment. Are you willing to do what must be done to get, and stay well? Are you willing to cease what has brought you to your present circumstances? There can be no wavering or vacation from the commitment. Are you content to sit in a wheelchair, drooling, for the rest of your life, or would you rather be mobile and feel the sun and wind with the sound of birds in the air?
These pages reflect my views on the work I do and have taken years to realize and apply. I offer my assistance and partnership to those willing to stay the course. There are those in nature who can track any being with a Spirit. I seek to achieve and maintain that level of commitment.
Nothing is more important than one's health, not family, children, friends, career, goals, or aspirations. Because everything comes from our health and well being. One's health must come first. Once we become un-well nothing else matters and all our energies, efforts, and thoughts become focused on our health. All this can be prevented by concentrating on our health from the beginning. Responsibility and commitment are the Keys. Parents of sick children are often the cause of their children's illness. It is the lack of commitment that results in the failure of the child's organism. Once illness appears it is too late to prevent the negative outcomes. Some parents through their selfishness have children knowing their particular health problems will be passed on to their offspring. Stress, the consumption of animals and animal products results in most of human illness. A plant-based diet is the key to sustained health of humans and all life on the planet. Ridding the world of the use of fossil fuels with the replacement of Solar Energy will make the world a better place for all.
Interestingly, many patients, after a short recovery time, returned to their previous lifestyle, complicating the healing process thinking their new organs and medications could somehow make everything wonderful. Which it did. Temporarily. Many patients, after a few years, found themselves requiring a new transplant.
I have always found the regenerative ability of the Liver to be more than interesting, and Bone Marrow Transplants to be the most fascinating and challenging.
I work with U.S. and non-U.S. patients often coordinating Transplants with patients in their own countries, mostly however, I send patients to countries other than their own. Which countries I work with depends upon the time of year and the availability of facilities, doctors, and medical staff. Costs are constantly changing as well as which doctors and facilities can be utilized.
I am located in Los Angeles. In my early years of practice, patients would often visit with me. Now, everything is coordinated electronically which expedites the process. Patients often bring a friend or family member to accompany them on their journey which I also coordinate, arranging travel and lodging.
The Transplant process, for Kidneys, is about two weeks from leaving home to return. Other organs require more time for hospital recovery. The patient is released from the hospital only when it is certain no complications will arise.
Typically, insurance does not cover the process which must be considered when considering Transplant.
The Transplant process seems to be more stressful for the very young and the elderly. Transplant costs are different depending upon the Transplant required and the health condition of the patient.
In closing, the time draws near when the successful reality of Head, Brain, and Spinal Transplants will take place. Currently much progress has occurred and long term survival of patients is assured. I am, and have been, involved in the continued success of medical progress in Transplant Coordinator. Those who have waited and lost hope may now be comforted in knowing that the continued prolonging of life is nearing the stage where the measure of one's life will no longer be in years but in decades and centuries.
To those who are able to grasp what I say and offer, the promise has arrived and the wonder of life can now be extended indefinitely. I am tired of seeing my older friends dying because of age. I am here to make your dreams real. I offer my assistance in Permanent LIfe-Extension.
Once an internal organ has deteriorated to the point of requiring Transplant all options will have changed. The patient's decisions will no longer be clear and should not be depended upon as when they were healthy. The focus then, and must be, upon the restoration of the patient's health and well being. For those without funds and resources this is a daunting task, perhaps unachievable. Those on Transplant waiting lists or relying on insurance still face great hurdles to longevity.
Most Transplants will allow a few years of a troubled, unhealthy life filled with hospital visits, illness and medications designed to affect their Immune System to control Organ Rejection. These strategies are designed to result in a few additional years of life but at a huge cost which is all consuming. These people, if they seek additional life, have no other choice.
Transplant Coordinator throughout the world are on the rise, as are all life altering illnesses. Cancer, Stroke, Heart and Lung failure as well as Diabetes will end the lives of most people. Being wealthy with resources does not guarantee a different outcome. Ignorance and selfishness are prevalent among the human species and contribute to our problems.
I do not accept most patients who come to me seeking a solution to their problems. Most people are not willing to change, and insist on the continuance of the lifestyle that brought them to the stage of health they are now experiencing.
The few patients I accept must be willing to adhere to what I determine is the best course of action for the restoration of their health with many years of extended, productive, and vibrant life. The few years that most Transplant patients receive from the procedure are filled with illness, seclusion, medications and doctors. The continual question is, is the continuation of life worth the effort that must be continued until the end? Recently I spoke with a friend who I have not seen in 50 years. He had just received a heart transplant unbeknownst to me, one prior to my phone call. He was weak, in pain, and not happy. Two weeks later I read about his death in an obituary column. It is true he should not had pursued this transplant, basically because of his age, 83 yrs. old, but life clings to life at all costs. I do not know the circumstances in his case, but older people should not attempt such a traumatic course of action.
The toll a new Transplant procedure takes on the patient, his lifestyle, and those close to him is exhausting and devastating. The cost of medication for those , without insurance, consumes most of their resources. Many Recipients, without funds, succumb to organ rejection. Some ask if it really matters how long a life exists or the accomplishments that occur during that span of time.
Stem Cell Therapies are the most interesting to me and are the key to Longevity, health, and organ rejection, organ growth and replacement.. The current use of animal and artificial organs are not the answer and create their own set of problems.
A healthy lifestyle utilizing exercise and a plant -based diet is, in my mind, the ideal path to a long, healthy, productive Life.
